Iman Faith Malaka
CEO

A co-founder member and majority shareholder of TIC-IT Telecoms, Iman has over 15 years’ experience in the telecoms sector. She has held various roles in renowned organizations such as MTN, Accenture and Vodacom amongst others.

Her extensive skills sets include areas such as Business Intelligence (BI), Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Customer Value Management (CVM), Billing Assurance, Mobile Applications and Business Management Consulting.

Iman has a Post-grad Degree in BSC. Computer Science and BCom. Information System from the University of Cape Town.

She has an excellent affinity for detail and new technologies coupled with a strong passion for developing people around her.

Bashi Makhafola
Technical Executive

A co-founder member with over 12 years of rich experience in the telecoms sector, Bashi has a track record for finding innovative solutions and delivering superior results.

His qualifications include a BSC Computer Science Degree(UL), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (WBS), LEAP Management Programme(Ben Blanchard Institute), Project Management Certificate(Wits Plus), Technical certifications from Cisco – CCNA and CCNP(Switching and Routing) and ITIL Certification in Service Management(PEOPLECERT).

His knowledge and skills are essential to the attainment of TIC-IT’s growth strategy as we continue to focus on delivering the best value to all our customers.

2005 VAS Company

Designed and built our first-ever bulk messaging gateway.
2014 Business Account

TIC-IT Telecoms is a 100% black-owned company with 70% shareholding in the hands of a woman who is leading the company. The organisation has a level 1 BBBEE rating.
2016 Fully Operational

Gets first clients PBT Group, Impuma Group, Mode-SA, Balepye, Cassidy Tech Solutions. Hires first permanent technical support engineers.

2017 Growth

New products & services, new customers and built a high-performance team.
2019 Re-strategising

Focused on core services, re-engineered Managed Services model and diversified on products and services.
2020 Growth

Participating in development programmes, focusing on new partnerships, upskilling, on-boarding new customers and key-focused on customer experience.

As TIC-IT family, we always take time and opportunity to genuinely give our hearts and spend time with the under privilege and show some love. This is the beginning of participating in the initiatives that build a caring and giving society.

2018

CSI Sanitary
TIC-IT and TIC Foundation went to visit a public primary school in Cape Town and gifted the female scholars with sanitary pads and female hygiene education.

2019

His Heart Ministries
TIC-IT and TIC Foundation went to visit “His Heart Ministries Orphanage” and gifted little ones with lots of essential products for healthy growth and development.

2020

COVID-19 National Fund Donation to 9 Individuals – R500 Vouchers
TIC-IT and TIC Foundation helped the needy, whose income was affected by the COVID-19 lockdown by providing essential groceries to their homes.

TIC-IT and TIC Foundation heeded to the plea of our president, Cyril Ramaphosa to extend a helping hand to the needy and less fortunate. Unrelenting in its spread COVID19 spread and its effect is felt by more than 29% of South Africa’s unemployed.

We are an organisation found and bound by the threads of Ubuntu-humility, and as such Donated to the Government COVID Relief Fund and have thus far identified and assisted 5 needy families with basic needs during this period. We are encouraged by others and therefore urge others to do the same. Together, We can!
